Producing of the hardware-software complex for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Producing of the “Hardware-software complex concerning work automation of the enlistment departments of the regional and district military commissariats during the preparation and registration of the citizens at the enlistment offices and their call to the military service”. Producing of the database of the vacancies and candidates to the contract military service.

For the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Stage 1

Purposes of the Project:

To create complex system including hardware and software for the computerized collection, storing and processing of the registration data in the system of the military commissariats of Ukraine and Ministry of Defense (MD) of Ukraine.
Present project is carried out due to the grant of the Ministry of Defense of the USA.
The project’s value is – 1 500 00, 00 USD.

Within the limits of the project concerning producing of the hardware-software complex was created data transferring and data processing system on the basis of the equipment produced by Dell, Cisco, 3Com, Zyxel. This system has connected more than 400 work stations and 15 servers, gathering and transferring information to the MD of Ukraine.

This stage has covered all the district, city and regional military commissariats of the western region of Ukraine, Regional Operational Command, Recruiting Centre and General Headquarters of the MD of Ukraine in Kiev. Installed equipment offers gathering and transferring information at different modes and can use both open and specialized communication links. Also within the limits of the project military commissariats of the western region were provided with the equipment for scanning, copying and printing documents from such leader producers as Xerox and Hewlett-Packard. All the delivered equipment is protected from power supply failures by uninterrupted power supply systems from APC.
In the regional military commissariats of the western region o Ukraine, Regional Operational Command, Recruiting Centre and General Headquarters of the MD of Ukraine in Kiev and also in the premises of the First officer courses in Nikolayev City were created local network (including specialized communication links, commutation and data transferring equipment) belonging to the global system.

This developed software provides automated data entry from the existing sources to database of the district military commissariats

and enlistment offices, analysis of the data gathered on the level of the regional military commissariats, analysis of the findings in the database and report making in the Operational Command, Recruiting Centre and General Headquarters of the Military Forces of Ukraine.
During the day data gathered is coming from the lower level to the most upper.

To popularize contract military service and make access to public informational recourses of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in the framework of the project hardware and software were produced to create the network of the Informational kiosks. Represented pilot samples have undergone experimental exploitation in the Enlistment Centre.

This system provides access to ad clips, information about vacancies available for those who intend to serve contract, enlistment centers and military commissariat addresses, juridical information connected to the MD activities and military service in whole. Software developed for the network of the Informational kiosks is easily run that allows flexible content management.

Various tasks solutions during hardware-software complex producing got high mark from the foreign advisors delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the USA.
